Academic life can be quite chaotic, so I created this free collection of Trello boards to help you get organized.
Trello is a free project management system that lets you create a visual representation of your life. There are so many features to help you get organized and it's a pretty user-friendly tool. I'll show you how to copy the boards in this course into your account in the first lesson, but this course isn't a course on using Trello. Just FYI.
The boards I've created aren't anything fancy. Just simple ways to visually organize various elements of life inside and outside of academia.
The list of boards are showcased in the image below. But, here's a written list:
- Semester Schedule - Weekly
- Online Teaching Plans
- To-Do Lists
- Publications in Progress
- Job Market Tasks
- Meal Prep Plans
- Accountability Group
- Students SOPs
*I also include a suggestions section at the end of the course. Feel free to comment with your board ideas. Your comment might inspire a future board added to this course!
Your Instructor
Iām an education YouTuber and blogger with a PhD in English. On my YouTube channel, Ever Educating, I share teaching tips, tools, ideas, and resources for new college instructors. I also post a lot of edtech tutorials. On my blog, I share similar teaching advice and also host a free resource library with PDFs and other documents for educators to use. My content is inspired by the six years of experience I have teaching undergraduate courses in children's literature, young adult literature, and composition.
